The University of California Cooperative Extension is holding Silage Day on Aug. 23 at the Stanislaus County Agriculture Center in Modesto.  This educational event will target dairy producers, consultants, and industry related persons with the goal of improving silage management practices to optimize animal performance.  Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. The educational program will conclude with an industry sponsored lunch.  There is no charge to attend this event, but registrations are appreciated to plan for lunch and handouts.  To register, contact Jennifer Heguy at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
