John Labandeira, Field Representative

Emigrating from the Azore Islands to the United States when he was six years old, John Labandeira began his dairy background almost immediately milking cows on his family's farm in Tulare County. John applied his early experience owning and operating a dairy facility for over 18 years. Familiar with all aspects of farming and livestock, John works with some of the largest dairy operations in the world ranging in size up to 5,000 milking cows. John's knowledge of the unique demands of large herd dairies prepares the industry and WUD's membership in meeting environmental and food safety standards of the future.
